WE ARE HERE TO HELP
We desire to establish a web of care through counseling, prayer, support groups, recovery groups and mentoring. Our hope is when people feel safe, loved and cared for, they are in a better position to receive the healing power of God’s love.
Marriage
Pre-Marital Counseling
We offer pre-marital counseling services to help prepare couples for the adventure of marriage. This is a requirement if you would like to be married at Parkview Community Church.
Foundations (Newly Married)
Experienced mentor couples lead small groups of newly married couples (3 years or less) walking alongside and encouraging them to grow in their relationship with Jesus and each other while building a marriage that glorifies God.
Recovery Programs
Many of us are in recovery from something. We provide a wide variety of programs to support and care for our community. The majority of our recovery programs take place on Monday Nights from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Parkview Community Church in a safe and judgment-free zone.
Addictions
Our addictions group is a 12-step Biblical recovery group in a home setting serving those seeking sobriety. In addition, we sponsor recovery events which impact people throughout DuPage County and across the country.
Pathway to Freedom
Applying 12-step teaching to help those seeking to manage their controlling feelings over people, behaviors, or things.
Compass (Sexual Integrity for Men)
Applying 12-step teaching to help those seeking to manage their controlling feelings over people, behaviors, or things.
Beyond Betrayal (For Spouses of Sexual Addicts)
Join us Monday nights for care, recovery, and support groups. Beyond Betrayal is a safe and supportive space to process the pain and trauma of betrayal due to a spouse’s sex addiction. Join us as we move toward healing and wholeness. All participants will be required to purchase workbook and journal.
Support Groups
Cancer Support
Cancer support provides encouragement and hope for those in crisis, whether battling or surviving cancer. Hosted by cancer survivors, this faith-based group encourages spiritual growth through the sharing of survival tools, personal stories, and Biblical truth.
Divorce Care
This 13 week video/discussion-based support group provides hope, healing and stability for those dealing with the emotional devastation of marital separation and/or divorce.
Kids event care available
Grief Share
We provide a place to be loved and encouraged through this Christ-centered video/discussion group specifically for those grieving the death of a loved one. Find encouragement from those who have walked a similar journey.

Growing Solo (Support for Single Moms)
Join us for a time of friendship, encouragement, teaching, and prayer.

Homebound Care
We serve those in our church family who aren’t able to attend services due to illness, physical limitations or age through monthly visits, phone calls, correspondence, meals, and various home needs.
Love Always
This group is for parents, family, or friends of someone who is LGBT+. Here, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, journeys, and feelings in an open and safe environment. We are committed to loving well!
Mental Wellness
Thrive in a group for those dealing with depression, mood instability, anxiety, or adjusting to unwanted change. Work from a strengths-based, holistic approach to living with a mental health challenge, knowing that circumstances don’t define who we are – God does.
