“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”  Malachi 3:10

God has called us to radical generosity and when we give, we lean into spiritual transformation. Letting go of what we hold as valuable allows God the opportunity to change us from the inside out. Becoming more like Jesus means living a generous life marked by love and sacrifice.

We believe God’s baseline for generous giving is the “tithe.” The term “tithe” simply means tenth and is defined in Scripture as the first 10% of one’s income. When we bring our first and best to God, he promises to bless and favor our lives. Tithing is a step of faithful obedience to which we are all called.

Giving on Sunday morning remains a traditional way to regularly contribute to God’s work. However, many people today choose to contribute electronically. Not having cash or check in hand doesn’t have to limit you. Giving online is a safe, convenient and disciplined way to practice generosity. God has chosen to change the world through the ministry of his church and we thank you for your financial commitment to Parkview.

Q: What is the preferred method of giving?
A: We prefer you use our online or text-to-give platform. It's easy for you and is an efficient use of Parkview's resources.

Q: Who should give online?
A: Anyone who is looking for a simpler way to give to the ministry of Parkview. You can give as a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift.

Q: Is giving online safe?
A: Yes, it is! Pushpay is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, which also happens to be the same certification your bank has. This means Pushpay is considered significantly more secure than many current payment methods, including actually having a credit card physically present.

Q: Would you prefer I use a credit card or ACH?
A: We prefer you give from your bank account (ACH) rather than using a credit card. If you choose to give with a credit card, please keep in mind that roughly 3% of your gift will go to the credit card company for processing fees. With ACH transfers from your bank, Parkview receives 100% of your gift.

Q: When are gifts processed?
A: You are able to choose the date your gifts are to be processed when you set up your gift online.

Q: How can I get a receipt for my gift?
A: You can access your giving statement online anytime by logging into your InFellowship account. You can see giving statements that include any online or in-person giving associated with you.

Q: Will my online gifts be included on my contribution statement?
A: Yes, they will be included in your year-end giving statement.

Q: Can I view my giving history online?
A: You may view your giving history online three business days after you have established your new account in our system. Going forward, you will be able to view your giving history at any time.

Q: What if I am not a Parkview member, but want to make a donation? Can I still get a contribution statement for tax purposes? A: Giving online provides a contribution statement to all who give regardless of membership status, assuming we have your correct contact information.

Q: What if I want to cancel or change my online giving?
A: You may cancel or make changes to contributions before processing is complete. Once your contribution has processed, you cannot make any changes to it through your online giving account.
