Personal Bio

Born in Elmhurst, Alyssa Sutor has been in this area her entire life.  Her experiences as a high schooler in Child Development class led to her passion for understanding the growth of children and partnering with parents to ensure that they are receiving adequate care.  From there, Alyssa received her degree in English and Secondary Education from Elmhurst College.  Together with her husband, Alex, she has three children named Liam, Briella, and Ryan.  Spending time with her family is her biggest joy outside of her work and she loves that her job aligns with her other passion, which is understanding child development and connecting with moms as they journey through motherhood together.   Years ago, Alyssa used to do Stroller Strides workouts at Ackerman and she noticed Parkview Community Church.  Her family decided to try out the church and they were drawn to Parkview by the dynamic children’s ministry.  She loves that Parkview values family and she works hard to maintain these attitudes in her role as the Early Childhood Director, where she manages programs for ages 0-5 years.  Whether coordinating volunteer schedules, choosing curriculum activities, or connecting with parents and their children, Alyssa’s days are filled with tasks devoted to making sure that the Early Childhood Program is running smoothly.
